How usage is measured, how prices are shown, and when you will be charged.
Overview
Usage is measured in participant minutes: one user connected to a room for one minute. Current rates are on the pricing page.
Prices
The pricing page and the console read the same live rate card, so the numbers you see are always current. The CLI and API expose the same data at GET /v1/public/pricing/plans and /v1/public/pricing/rates.
Launch discount
A launch discount is applied to list rates and shown next to every price.
Charges during early access
No payment method is collected and nothing is charged during early access. Cost figures in the console are estimates so you can plan; you will be told before paid billing starts.
